Every MLB game carries its research: both starting pitchers’ season and recent form, the bullpens, each lineup against the hand it faces, ballpark factors, weather (wind relative to center field, temperature, precipitation), and the FanDuel moneyline, run line and total with their movement since the open.
Game selections come from 13 experimental MLB specialists — eight on the moneyline, two on the run line and three on the under. Each is a fixed rule on season-to-date team or starting-pitcher history, decided in the hour before first pitch and logged at the FanDuel price it was recorded at. They cover regular-season games only. Their historical records are exploratory backtests, not validated profitability and not live results, and a game none of them selects reads “No specialist selection”.
Player props go through a separate Poisson projection layer per stat — hits, home runs, total bases, RBIs, runs scored, hits+runs+RBIs, and pitcher strikeouts. Each prop projection accounts for the batter-vs-pitcher history, recent rolling form, opposing pitcher ERA / WHIP / K%, ballpark-by-handedness factors, and weather. Props with strong projection-vs-line edges show up bright green; weak ones drop to orange or red.
